We collect information you choose to provide, such as your email address and username when you create or use an account. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your verified email address, Google account identifier, and first name when it is available. We also collect information in feedback or messages you send, and a name and email address when you request our recipe gift. If you purchase access or a gift, Stripe processes your payment details and provides us with transaction and subscription information needed to manage your purchase.

Information collected automatically

When you visit, our website and service providers may receive technical information such as your device or browser type, IP address, referring page, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember kitchen progress and preferences, operate site features, measure limited site activity, and protect against fraud or abuse.

Our activity reporting uses a random browser-session identifier and records page or feature events. It does not store names, email addresses, or IP addresses in that report. Kitchen-readiness progress is stored on your device. Signed-in recipe access, saved recipes, cooking celebrations, feedback, memberships, and gifts may be stored with your account.

How we use information

We share information only as needed with service providers that help us operate the website, manage accounts and email, host data and images, process payments, measure site activity, or prevent fraud and security threats. These include Google for optional Google sign-in, Automattic and WordPress for account and email services, Stripe for payment services, and our website-hosting providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

SMS privacy

The Vegan Persian Kitchen may collect a mobile telephone number and SMS consent record from internal test participants who choose to text JOIN to our business number and confirm by replying Y. We use this information only to send and evaluate low-volume internal test messages, including testimonial invitations and related support replies. Message frequency varies. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP.

Email choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email. We may still send account, purchase, security, or other messages needed to provide a service you requested.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and security needs. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee complete security.

Your privacy rights

Children’s privacy
